Bottle @sbwf15. Dark brown colored beer with a thin off white head. Raisins, plums, bread, malt. Quite sweet. Flavor has chocolate notes, plums, sweetness, molasses. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JUL 8, 2015
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light messy lacing sticking to the glass.
The smell started off with rich sweet milk chocolate and a lingering bitter dark chocolate to balance. Light dark fruits mesh in and around the chocolate flavors.
The taste was moderately sweet combining the chocolate with the dark fruits nicely. A light lingering sweet fruity to chocolate aftertaste leads into a sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed pretty subdued yet still good and lead to a semi-smooth almost creamy feel.
Overall, tastes and smells great on a cool Summer’s evening, not a crushable beer but looking at it for what it is and wants to be it works. I’d have again. hman43 (1588) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JUN 28, 2015

A great blend of flavors. I would drink this with my dinner before a night out with the boys. Strangebrewer (1308) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 28, 2015
