Pours a light and lucid golden with small white head. Aroma is floral and malty. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Aftertaste is bready. Tough to compare as its my first kolsch. Ronritter (875) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 3, 2017

If I was in my Kayak speeding up and down the inland waters of the Great Upper Peninsula I can assure you the ballast I would recommend is Blatz. This stuff I would use to wash the Kayak after it became infested with zebra Mussels. Or not. Either way, you cannot go wrong with Blatz. So that’s what is, what was, and what will be........trust me, I’ve been to Milwaukee. AnokaBrewer (223) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - JAN 29, 2015
Growler purchased at the brewery. Aroma was spunky, but that didn’t come through in the taste. Almost no head. Darker straw in color which seemed to be darker than the style. Good taste, would be great on a warm day. Having this before in bottle was much better than the growler.

Non-objectionable, nice ale, but not bitter at all. Good taste. Kolsch is a bit too mild for my taste. benfergy (248) - Valley City, North Dakota, USA - MAY 10, 2014
This beer has a golden orange appearance. Its aroma has some grassy malt; not much hops. The taste is balanced. It’s not a terribly complex beer, but it’s still good! Smoothsippin (49) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Pours a hazy straw color with a thin white head. Citrusy on the nose. Smooth and sweet mouthfeel. A tad of bitterness on the swallow but pleasant. Don’t know a lot about the style but was light, refreshing and would be a good summer beer on a hot afternoon. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - NOV 19, 2013
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale gold with almost no head. Aroma of corn and grains with some cotton candy. Taste is light sweet. Belgiany banana notes to start with corn and grains throughout the rest. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and not much of a finish at all. Meh, drinkable but nothing to seek out.
