COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second volume of our Anniversary Series is this Belgian-style apricot ale. Pours a golden-orange color from the apricot pure with a fine, off-white head. The apricot-forward nose, followed by spice and malt, gives way to mild pear and melon esters followed by a biscuity malt aroma. The fruit melds well with the malty sweetness, like apricot preserves on a fresh baked biscuit, while earthy and spicy U.S. Saaz hops balance the sweet entry. Apricot, malt, and spicy hop flavors all linger, a refreshing crowd pleaser on a summer day.

This fruit-infused Belgian begs to be paired with a turkey leg with an apricot glaze, grilled chicken topped with apricot or peach relish, or a tempeh wrap with apricot chutney. Also try it with a wedge of earthy and nutty gruyere.

Dark cloudy orange with a thick white foam. Aroma has no surprises. Smells like a Belgian wheat with apricot. Taste is similar. Nice Belgian flavor with a bit of fruit. Not overly complex. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Overall a good beer. No problem working through the other three.

Cloudy , dark golden color with a light ecru, lid of soft looking bubbles. Aromas of wheat, light citrus, light fruit and hints of old barn. Medium heft, with a light prickle. Light wheat sweetness in the front. Mild peach pit tartness. Touch of doughy yeast. Light summer fruit brew. 6/13

Managed to score a leftover bottle at Hop City Westside. Pours clear, somewhat bubbly amber with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Malt, apricot, yeast, and a hint of spice comprise the mouth-watering aroma. Flavor is fruitier and spicier than the aroma, and bolder; hints of banana and mango peep through. Texture presents decent body and fizz. Too bad this is probably gone now.

Nose of baby food... apricots, squash, and just a trace of oxidation. Appearance is amber honey with a good amount of haze. Head is very short lived, but was off white and medium bubble. Carbonation is still abundant and very spritzy, carrying some spice with the flavour of the beer. Quite spicy. Mouthfeel is medium. Its a very simple and subtle beer with a decent palate. Sweetly balanced, not terribly "apricot-ish", certainly more in the nose. Water crackers, white pepper, decent hops in the back. Finish is short, but theres so much gas in this beer. Bit of a burpfest if youre doing anything but sipping. Its reasonably good.

huge foamy head on this beer, quite malty and sweet...tastes like it has more alcohol than it does...apricot is decent amount...not strong at all....bold flavor that is good

Bottle. Some very subtle fruit notes in the aroma, but mostly sweetness. Taste is a bit subdued, coming across like a basic pale ale. (from notes)

Bottle poured a cloudy apricot with a lasting amber head. Aromas of straw, apricot and yeast. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, apricot and yeast with a smooth lingering yeasty apricot finish.

From a bottle. Pours very cloudy orange copper with a thin fizzy white head. Tastes sweet and slightly dry, fruity, like apricots, apples, grapefruit. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like dough, light spice, dried apricots.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bread and cereal malts, floral notes, light spice, apricot, light wheat, and light grassy notes. Flavor is chewy malts, semi-sweet flavors, light fruit esters, and Belgian yeast; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Big fan of this brewery, but not impressed with this 25th Anniversary Series brew. The apricot flavor is very strong and thick on the palate. Just not very enjoyable. Disappointed that this is what I chose to toast 12/5, Repeal of Prohibition Day.

Nice floral fruity aroma. The flavor has a bit of the Belgian spice and a nice sour fruity bit of apricot. Nicely balanced between the sweet, sour and bitterness. The finish is dry and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
