Bottle as Big Easy Imperial Maibock from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Smells more sweet than anything, but there might be some grassiness. Med plus body. It is sweet. There is an herby/grassy aspect that might be hop. There is a little bitter, but not enough to squelch the malt. Theres a flavor suggestion that this stuff might be related to malt liquor. Tinge of that sort of aroma too. This one leaves me conflicted.

Bottle offered @ home, via rote boxe. Thanks! Pours a bit hazy, bright orange appearance with a thin tan head. A lot of sweet orange candy, sweet mash / grain water aroma. A little watery and very twangy. Lots of grass and sweetness. Finishes way too sweet. Pass.
