Bottle as Big Easy Imperial Maibock from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Smells more sweet than anything, but there might be some grassiness. Med plus body. It is sweet. There is an herby/grassy aspect that might be hop. There is a little bitter, but not enough to squelch the malt. There’s a flavor suggestion that this stuff might be related to malt liquor. Tinge of that sort of aroma too. This one leaves me conflicted. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 20, 2007

Aroma. Faintest whiff of floral hops. Too much carbonation and very very boring overall. Oh well... jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 16, 2012
