Courtesy of Skyview. Very dark brown color with a medium head. Strong piney hop aroma. Light biscuit and chocolate/roast flavor. Very strong bitterness. Rides the line of being an overhopped strong porter and a tinted IPA. Nicely done.
Bomber. Poured deep brown with a short-lived head. The aroma picked up sweet-ish grassy and piney hops over sweet black malts. The flavor found sweeter chocolate and molasses notes at the core with light bitterness throughout.. finished spicy and bitter, with OK balance.. good stuff!8 Travlr (26130) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 25, 2014

Bottle from the 11/29 batch. Deep walnut brown with a firm tan head that lasts. Crisp aroma of sharp pine and grapefruit with a bit of doughy malt in the background. Spicy herbal hops flavor with dry citrus notes and a hint of creamy malt. A long dark, creamy finish rounds it out. This is one of their best.
