Bottle - Nice mellow hop orange nose with a bit of caramel sweetness. Pale clear gold with a minimal head. Although the hops are there, the caramel and malts are overwhelming. If you prefer a malt forward ale with some hops this is what you are looking for, I prefer it the other way around. I also get a bit of booze at the finish.
On tap at local sports bar after full day of basketball. Eric had one too. Pours pale orange with a white head. Sweet malty with piney hops and light citrus. Taste is sweet malty evenly met with some tangy pine. A bit of grapefruit. Not too complex, but an easy drinker. 13.9 jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Draft at lakefront brewery. From notes. Loads of herbal hops dominate. A hint of caramel malt in the finish. Pretty good. slowrunner77 (12046) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 6, 2014
mine sure didn’t taste liberally hopped. it had an average aroma for the style, with an off putting bitter flavor. not a good pale. i wish i got the same beer some of these others rated. bottled 5/09...had 10/09 troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - APR 28, 2014
[Tap] Pours a darker shade of gold with nice looking lacing on the glass. Aroma is of mild earthy hops and light fruits. Taste is more of the same, with crackers and biscuity notes as well. Lingering crisp hoppiness. Light to medium body. A fine beer with no off flavors. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 24, 2014
An average pale ale. Pours amber color with white head. Floral on the nose. Floral, citrus, and cereal on the palate.

Appearance: Pours copper.
Aroma: Aroma of light citrus.
Taste: Light medium bitterness, caramel.
Summary: Solid APA.
Pours a hazed orange with an off-white large head. Aroma is all citrus hops. Taste is better with a dry finish and medium mouth feel. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - JAN 5, 2014
Pours an unclear orange amber. Medium to large frothy, creamy white head. Aroma is pleasantly hopped; citrus, grapefruit, some pine. Flavor is less fruity, more caramel and bread, muddled and a little less distinctive, but still quite tasty. Medium body. Moderate bitterness. Fair sweetness. Great drinkability. Not bad. bkurtz (1095) - Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Decent APA. Average in most ways, but refreshing and light, good for everyday drinking. Cousin_Larry (895) - - DEC 25, 2013
Floral aroma that is common for an IPA. Flavor is not excessively bitter like many IPAs. This is a good one that gets better as you drink u
