Eastside Dark The rich, coffee-like aroma and flavor of this fine Dark Bavarian style lager beer is derived from a precise blending of three different specialty barley malts, chocolate, black patent, and Munich malt. Munich malt is also added to bring about the creamy body of this malty brew that has an original gravity of 1060. The most impressive aspect of this brew is the perfect balance between the specialty malts and coveted Mt. Hood hops. Unlike many other dark beers, East Side Dark doesn’t have the bitter aftertaste associated with it. Instead, your palate is greeted with the rich body and balanced flavor that only this beer can deliver.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2017 pours cola dark. small head that dissipates quickly. A non complex taste with overtones of coffee. A little bitter aftertaste, though not unpleasing.

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a cola brown with a small, white head. The aroma is caramel, coffee, nuts, toast, and earthy. The taste is sweet with caramel, coffee, and bread hints. It was a little thin. This was okay. There wasn't anything wrong with it. It didn't stand out either though.

Dark nut brown colour, medium-sized beige head. Aroma is nutty with some caramel and ash. Light to medium-bodied. Toffee, toasted malts, chocolate or cocoa powder, nuttyness, grass. Quite Bavarian like but no need to brought it here. Better orginals available.

he beer has a cola body with hints of ruby. A quarter inch of beige head quickly fades. The aroma offers bittersweet chocolates, light coffee, brown bread, malt. Ok flavor. Mild sweetness with moderate carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
