UPDATED: NOV 13, 2017 Smell smooth, crisp and malty...taste is the same...a bit one dimensional ...but a good light malty sweetness...could drink all day...had as part of mix pack Mario (Anne's friend -florida) stayed before Halloween party 2017 x2

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured an amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of dough, malts, flowers and some hops. The taste was similar to the aroma with more dough, malts, flowers, hops and a medium carbonation with a mild aftertaste. Decent.

Ratman197 (15444) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2017
Bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread, fruitiness and yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of caramel, light fruitiness and a hint of yeast with a smooth dry lingering caramel finish.

12 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Beloit, WI, consumed cold out of rather appropriate Coors Banquet glass. Pale gold, decent slightly chunky off-white lasting head...inoffensive, reasonably fresh adjunct (corn) aroma, smells better than, say, Hamms, but nothing to get me salivating...lightly sweet, a touch acidic, faintly salty body, no hop presence noted, reasonably full-bodied for what it is, little to no finish. So now we’ve got good breweries making "Mexican lagers"; what’s next, 3 Floyds Dry Lime Chelada?

2.7
ajnepple (7172) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 1, 2017
12 oz single bottle from Molly’s Spirits. Clear blonde appearance with a white head, mostly dissipating. Mild aroma sweet grains, bread and lightly toasted malt. Similar flavor, bland, grainy sweetness and a touch of bitterness. Light bodied, thin and watery with a slightly unpleasant finish. Drinkable.

Bottle from Trader Joes. Average light yellow pour. Nose of bread, corn, and metallic grains. More malt on the palate than a real Mexican beer. Not as fruity but hoppier than a Mexican brew as well. The malt presence saves this. For the money and style it’s fairly decent.

Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 29, 2017
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Brookfield. Clear golden, large pillowy light tan head, good retention. Aroma of corn, grain and grass. The taste is pale malt, corn, hay, mild grass. Thin. Delivers as promised.

BlackBeerPG (937) - Darien, Illinois, USA - JUN 29, 2017
Taste: grains and corn notes, non sweet, mild hops. Same with the nose. Gold, clear for the most part, average foam head. Medium/lite body. Appetizer beer,

Bottle:
Hazy golden-yellow with a moderate. off-white head.
Grain, corn, maybe a little pear note in the aroma.
Taste is sweet, a bit of corn malt, barley malt....some fruitiness.
Very decent body and a pleasant taste....
Soft, and a bit doughy, but not bad at all.

I found this very different. My first impression was of candy. Little bit sweet nice malts and some grassey tones.
