Pure Milwaukee Genius Series 3: Inspired by the energy and audacity of the Fearless Fixed Gear Courier, Lakefront ran smack into this arresting creation. It’s RED, it’s BOLD and it tastes DAMN GOOD. We could go on and on about it, but the fact is, you have one in your hand right now, so crack it open yourself. This one’s got an ATTITUDE.

HopAutonomous (12) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2012
Despite the warning, I was surprised by the strength of the beer. Poured a nice amber color (as the name would suggest) and started off with nice sweet malty aroma. Very little head. More citrus flavors than I was expecting, but balanced out okay. Pairs well with skinny jeans.

reddish amber with small head. very strong "red" flavor with hoppy bite. seems slightly unbalanced and there’s something slightly off with the finish. has potential, but not quite...

Bottle from ck1 - thanks bro! Pours an unclear reddish copper with a foamy reddish white head, nice lacing. Aroma has sweet caramel, piney hops and some spice. Very nice smelling amber! Taste is of sweet toffee, some earthiness, faint grassy hops and some pine. Finishes sweetly dusty bitter. A very nice amber.

a pretty sweet aroma with citrus and caramel smells. a complex flavor with fruits and citrus the body is a bit too heavy for the style. the finish is creamy with a bit of hops. Overall good but not great.

Juelze (1146) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Nice lacing with rich rusty color with light white head. Aroma is of bright citrus, light caramel malt and some notes of grassiness. Taste much the same with a more floral, and citrus profile. Solid offering from Lakefront.

Boliv (1150) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Bottled 1st week of May. Pours dark coppery red with a 2-finger foamy orange/beige head. Thick lacing as it recedes. Aromas of mild juniper (gin), pine, some orange rind, and alcohol. The flavor is slightly bitter citrus peel, sweet fruit, and maybe some peach and mango. Decent. [1085]

On draught at the brewery, July 2012. Dark amber color. Hop aroma before the glass is even near my nose. Closer inspection has very dry hops. Flavor is bitter with hops as well, and this is one of the most flavorful amber ales I have had anywhere.

BelgianBeerGal (4068) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUL 10, 2012
Chicago bottle from Binny’s downtown. Really pretty pour: cloudy, amber-brown with a small tan head and thick lacing. Strong aroma; flowery potpourri, sweet malt, hint of citrusy hops, and big time rose water. Flavor was nice and actually start with a little hop kick. Pretty tasty.

sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 6, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours a dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma is malty, bread, cereal. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, caramel, some grassy hops, with a light bitter finish. Not bad.
