Poured from a nicely chilled 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass, clean. 1st, coffee; then not coffee but stout; then, coffee with cream and sugar, then stout and finally, stout coffee with stout; both black, both good. A tasteful gas, this. LetsGoState (886) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 28, 2016

Draft at Milkboy. Opaque black/brown pour with a solid tan head. Splashes of lace. Creamy cold coffee. Notes of carob, chocolate easter bunny, chocolate liquorice, burnt roasty flavors. Caramel toast. Cigarettes. Too deep a brew for the faint of heart. fonefan (49996) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2016

Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a deep brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, some caramel, slight vanilla, a little roasted malts and subtle dark fruits, maybe strawberry quality. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, some chocolate, subtle caramel and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, roasted coffee bitterness in the finish. Nice aroma of sweet caramel and chocolate but the taste is quite roasty and earthy, like cold espresso. It’s ok but not sessionable. madvike (3280) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Bottle - Nice black pour with a creamy light tan head. Nose is metallic, with dark, chocolatey roast, acidic coffee notes, and a bit of vanilla. Taste is the same, with more of a mocha milkiness to it. Thin, watery body with ample carbonation. Not enough coffee and not a beer I’d go to again.
