Although Fuel Cafe has very little aroma, I think this stout is as good as it gets. The bottle says it is a "coffee flavored" but I get more chocolate flavors with a hint of coffee. Palate is rich and thick with a sweet taste and very little bitter. Fuel Cafe is a real treat!
Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a sturdy black color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white foamy head that slid off at a decent pace. Sly lace.
The aroma had a hefty dose of milk chocolate melding with some dark roasted malts and intertwining with a little bit of butterscotch and coffee creamer. Some roasted coffee beans trying to present a light balance.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side slightly with a presentable roastiness sliding in right before the aftertaste. Semi-sticky little finish, somewhat sweet.
The palate was just a touch under medium bodied with a fair sessionable quality about it. Carbonation felt good, seemed to rub right into the grab of the roastiness fairly nice. ABV seemed a bit under than what was projected.
Overall, pretty good sweet stout, a bit more balanced than others of it’s style. Larry_Duffman (527) - - APR 16, 2017
I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours black with a small, tan head. The aroma is coffee and chocolate. The taste is coffee, chocolate, and slight hops. This is pretty nicely balanced and tasty. gopherfan99 (1776) - Minnesota, USA - APR 5, 2017
Tap; pours black with a beige head; strong coffee aroma with hints of roast malt and chocolate; taste is dominated by the coffee again with a hint of roast malt; light bitter finish with the coffee lingering randy1969 (41) - Marengo, Illinois, USA - MAR 29, 2017
UPDATED: APR 4, 2017 From the bottle. Certainly a strong coffee aroma, the flavor is coffee bean, fruity. The bean fruit flavor continues into the finish. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I kind of like it Aggiebob (1101) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JAN 27, 2017

Black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, some chocolate and caramel. Similar taste. The body was on the light side. MrTipple (4782) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2016
Intense coffee, bitter, dark, toasted malts, cacao. Hazy, dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More dark, toasted malts, cacao, coffee, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Just about OK Sweet Stout, bit harsh coffee in aroma, lacks complexity in palate. Keg at brewery, Milwaukee. tmoreau (4298) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - AUG 16, 2016
On tap at the Heartland Bar in the Sheraton Madison, WI., dispensed to a shaker displaying a black/brown color, with a frothy layer of tan head foam, and waves, spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was malty and nicely creamy, but not heavily roasted, with chocolate, moderate coffee, some caramel sweetness, and subtle hints of spice, herbs, and greenery. Medium bodied, with soft carbonation, the taste added a roasted & earthy bitterness that expressed some dryness into the finish. Described as an Organic Coffee Stout, and a Sweet Stout here, but only a moderate amount of both were presented. Not overly robust, but flavorful, nonetheless.
