(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a deep, dark brown - almost black - with a wee orangey hue. Neat, creamy beige head. Malty, lightly burned aroma perhaps with a touch of coffee. Perhaps a whiff of butter also. Medium-bodied with lots of roasted malt. Lightly burned, bitter finish. Luckily that touch of butter never made it to the flavour. 170406 fiulijn (21506) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 21, 2006
