This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee’s reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Has a very scrumptious aroma that smells like an iced latte (it looks like one too). The taste reminds me of a burning campfire. A little roasty, and a little sweet like burning cedar at the end. The flavor is surprisingly subtle and watery for a stout. It’s not at all creamy and doesn’t make an attempt to announce its flavor. It’s a very drinkable beer in all respects but doesn’t start a revolution.

Pours dark brown with a thin head that quickly dissipates. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, slightly burned toast, and coffee. Good finish. Mouth feel is a bit on the thin side. All in all quite tasty but more or less average.

An okay sweet stout. Pours dark brown, has a little coffee, though not as much as you’d think considering the name. Tried for the first time in 2008.

12 oz. bottle (best by 1-31-2018) pours an opaque dark brown/black with one finger tight beige head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is as expected: roasted coffee, chocolate, and cream. Taste is slightly sweet with a hint of smokiness in the finish - not very complex, yet enjoyable. Body is medium with soft carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. This one comes off weaker than its stated ABV and thinner than I prefer my stouts, but proved enjoyable anyway.

BeerInHeaven (500) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 11, 2017
pours a very dark brown with a medium tan head. Roasted malt and strong coffee aroma. Rich sweet malty taste, then the black coffee bitter kicks in and hangs on. Hints of dark chocolate. Daddy like.

Rating #2555 - 2016.05.05 - Bottle at Bainbridge in Philly. Dark brown pour with a weak off white head. Cocoa and vanilla on the nose, and big coffee earthy malt notes. Taste is very rich in coffee flavour and mild vanilla bean. Balanced for a sweet stout, very palatable indeed. Nicely put together.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2017 Strong sweet coffee smell...taste is dark malt...coffee not as strong as you would think...medium sweet, no hops...bitter finish that detracts...fairly one dimensional..had pretty warm though
