This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukees reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Pours an opaque dark brown with a thick, pillowy tan head. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts, sweet overall but rather restrained. Taste is another matter completely, with an assertive coffee flavor dominating. Acidity of the coffee is rather high, making for a sour-sweet flavor. Sweetness of the malts adds to this profile, but there is also some bitterness noticeable as a result. Mouthfeel is a bit thick but far from oily, with a sharp tingling from the carbonation. In conclusion, I wouldnt call this a great stout, but it is definitely a great coffee beer. One for the coffee geeks.

Didnt know this was a sweet stout, sorta off for style i guess. This one has a simple balanced roasty flavor. its smooth and unoffensive, Pretty good overall, could drink a few of these.

Intense coffee, bitter, dark, toasted malts, cacao. Hazy, dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More dark, toasted malts, cacao, coffee, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Just about OK Sweet Stout, bit harsh coffee in aroma, lacks complexity in palate. Keg at brewery, Milwaukee.

On tap at the Heartland Bar in the Sheraton Madison, WI., dispensed to a shaker displaying a black/brown color, with a frothy layer of tan head foam, and waves, spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was malty and nicely creamy, but not heavily roasted, with chocolate, moderate coffee, some caramel sweetness, and subtle hints of spice, herbs, and greenery. Medium bodied, with soft carbonation, the taste added a roasted & earthy bitterness that expressed some dryness into the finish. Described as an Organic Coffee Stout, and a Sweet Stout here, but only a moderate amount of both were presented. Not overly robust, but flavorful, nonetheless.
