Bomber thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy brown ruby with small beige head. The aroma is strong caramel malt and cascade hop. Medium mouthfeel with nice pine, resin, light bitterness. Good. bhensonb (15965) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 7, 2011
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours really dark brown with a 3 finger creamy/foamy light tan head. Big pine aroma. Med+ body. There’s pine and perfumey/floral with the flavor - so much that I’m almost losing the darkish malt. I’d say this is the hoppiest, not necessarily the bitterest, "black IPA" I can recall. As the foam goes down, the floral hits the nose. It is extremely hoppy in a sort of Imperial English way. Not a NW way. Very good experience here. Brilliant. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, pink grapefruit, light orange zest and light cocoa with a smooth dry moderatly bitter roasty finish.

It pours a dark brown with a fluffy off-white/tan head that leaves a lot of lacing.
Smell is hoppy and chocoaltey. The hops are real good.
The flavor is a bit lacking. It wants to be hoppy and roasty and malty at the same time but it is an off-balance.
The mouthfeel is a bit thin. BeerandBlues2 (14018) - Escondido, California, USA - AUG 25, 2012
