Bottle, thanks to Ambassador for sharing.
Cloudy yellow coloured with a small white head.
Fruity aroma of malts with notes of hops and citrus.
Fruity flavour of malts, hat, grass and hops.
Hoppy finish. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 30, 2008
Dull colour, lacking both carbonation and head. Smells kind of catty, a little bit minerally, and fairly herbal. Drinks light - not really enough bitterness for a pilsner. Still a bit catty in the hop character. The malts aren’t bad, but they’re not bright either. A bit disappointing. bhensonb (15094) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 10, 2007
Firm aroma of light malt backed by noble hop. Much better than a typical American macro. Orange tinged golden color with a bubbly white head. Near medium body with mild, almost creamy, carbonation. The flavor is light malt, and near citrus hop. Of course it’s not citrus, but there is so much hop for this style. The finish is neither sweet nor dry, and the hop builds a little. Very clean. I agree, the accent is on the hops. All the comment on strength is compared to a typical American macro, not a crafted IPA. Anyway I was pleasantly surprised by this lager. Bottle poured a clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, grass and faint citrus notes. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of graininess, straw and a hint of lemon with a crisp clean finish. Tmoney99 (14377) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 17, 2008
Bottle from Cock and Bull. Poured a straw color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Heavy hoppy grainy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium fruit hoppy flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration.

(12oz bottle, bottled first week, November) Small white head atop clear straw body. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, some herbal/floral, grain. Taste is medium sweet, herbal, cereal, some floral, light metallic. Some bitterness, to be certain, but very mild. Light-medium body. Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 9, 2006
Amber pils with a light white head. Sweet malt and light czech hops in aroma. Nice sweet malt in mouth, with caramel and fruity notes. Medium bodied. Mondial 2005. Drake (13652) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 29, 2008
Bottle from a sampler from Whole Foods Market in Charlottesville. Pours pale golden with an almost nonexistent head. Malty aroma with some bitterness. The bitterness in the taste dies in the beginning and is followed by a somewhat offensive sweetness. Nice effervescence. BeerandBlues2 (13213) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 4, 2007
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow-orange with a spare, fizzy, white head, diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, meal), light hops (citrus, lemon), light yeast (dough) with notes of pear and solvent. Light bodied, thin texture, flat carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness; dust, grain, and citrus flavor. crossovert (12667) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 15, 2011
I was excited to try this fresh on tap at th brewery, too much buttery diacetyl. A big letdown.
