Bottle shared at Chad’s birthday. Light pour with a white head. Kinda fruity with some bread, but mostly veggies. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 16, 2012
(23oz bottle) clear gold, fine white bubbles. Nose of herbs, agave, citrus skins. Taste of cream, citrus zest, light bitterness, oatmeal. Easy drinking. OneSickPuppy (51) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 25, 2012
This beer pours smoothly and has a nice white cloudy head. There is a moderate haze to the beer and the color is a dark amber in color. The taste is sweet and you can taste the grains used in the brewing process. I was expecting this beer to be somewhat bitter since they include the name hop in the name and show a hop flower on the label but this beer was not bitter at all.
If you want to clean your palate this would be a good choice. backdaft (286) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep orange/amber. Medium average head with little retention. Bready malt aromas are present along with an earthy hoppiness. Slightly sweet and grainy; it’s what I would except from a lager. The grassy wet hops are noticeable, but left me wanting more. jlruthven (612) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Bomber, pours clear golden orange with a bit of white head. Requisite bready, pilsner malts, nice punch of noble-smelling hops. Full-bodied mouthfeel, meadowgrass, a bit of lemon and light, airy funk. Greatly drinkable.

22oz bomber. What looks to be filtered, some chill haze maybe, orange tan. Foamy off-white head. Interesting corny, grainy Pils aroma. Respectable range of hoppy flavors, way better than typical Lakefront. A pretty enjoyable Imperial Pils, more sessionable than a lot of the brutal offerings out there. Enjoyable and pretty unique. Poured a deep golden color with 2 fingers of head in a tulip glass. Aroma was very much of a lager with mild hops that of earthy grass. Lagar beer hit my mind once it hit my lips. The wet hops were mild in the finish with hay and grass. A solid lager with a nice mild hope pressance. Mouthfeel was light with high carbonation, what I would expect from this type of lager. beerbaaron (1997) - Arizona, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Fresh! crisp, super smooth and delicious. Great hop aroma and just the right amount of hoppy bite. Very drinkable. love it! mrjaxson (630) - .08 Junction, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 3, 2012
This has all the hops in the aroma but great balance in the taste to spare you the hop bite at the finish. Poured from a bomber, it looks great with a full, fluffy head and attractive lacing as the head settles. The higher booze content is nicely hidden. This goes down better than Lakefront’s original Local Acre and is a beverage I hope to see repeated in future years. Thisis12ptfont (1230) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - AUG 30, 2012
WIsconsin Wet Hop from a bottle. And wet hops indeed. The aroma is dominated by them. Pours a very light golden color with a massive foam top. Flavor is funky hops with a slight metallic taste and some biscuit in the back. Overall, this is like most pilsners i’ve had, simple and clean. B- rating.
