Pours a cloudy gold with nice white head. Aroma is surprisingly malty, but not without its hoppy goodness. Taste reveals a bit more hop flavor, but still not a ton. An ok fresh hop, but somewhat of a let down. reggiedunlop (3724) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Pours a hazy pale yellow/orange with a hube white head...very light sediment...very nice lacing and retention. Aroma has very light citrus and milldly spicy grassy notes...some light maltiness...bit of hay. Flavor definitely has pronounced hop notes...grassy...and firm pils or light malt backing...a bit sweet and faintly boozy. Mouthfeel is light but creamy...reminds me of a kolsch...and the finish is grassy and spicy. ryanfolty (2545) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - NOV 12, 2011

Orange yellow pour, nice hoppy aroma but not big on the taste. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Faint hazy orange yellow body. Mild hoppy aroma. The body is much more satisfactory. Mild bitterness with a strong hoppy body. Very dry and bitter finish. BVery (10485) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Bottle at MN Gathering @ Skyview V. Mostly clear yellow pour with a small white head. Slight vegetal and grain nose. Lighter palate. Taste is quite sweet with light apricot notes.

from keenan’s wisc trip. 3/24/11.
golden orange with a lasting white ring of a head.
earthy spiced aroma with notes of orange, juniper/sweet xmas tree, animal feed graininess and peaches.
the flavor is the same along with an odd herbaceous finish and lingering aftertaste.
evolves on the palate but not in a particularly good way. 7/4/6/3/14 thegreenrooster (4396) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 6, 2011
Pour is a dull murky yellow with a large white head. Aroma is floral hops with some pine. Flavor is at first fruity and perfume like with bone dry malt bringing things up after the swallow. Very hoppy for a lager style and easily drinkable. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 25, 2011
Bottle from City Beer. Pours cloudy blonde with a rich white head and a strong floral vegetable aroma. There is a hearty light malt flavor with a little fruit and subtle hop bitterness. bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 25, 2011
Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours hazy dark gold with an off-white creamy/bubbly head. Aroma is sort of dusty noble hop - suggests green veg a bit. Med body. Very hoppy. Malt quite submerged by hop. It’s coming our as very fruity and floral in the end. Nice. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - APR 21, 2011
Bottle. Dark amber with a big starting head and lasting skiff. Interesting raw grain scent that also shows up in the flavour. I would have added more hops. A bit of green apple in the nose and the taste. A nice sweetness. A bit of alcohol edge in the finish. A strong tasty malty lager with a nice hop level.
