Light amber color with a taller light taupe colored head. Aromas of fresh bread, and noble to citric hops (lemony). Much closer to a German pils with this one than the other Local Acre. Full body with just enough zip to push it along. Nice sweet malt flavors from the start. Acidic hop work to balance and are perhaps a bit to biting. Finish is a little grassy. Still a very nice pils. I miss some of the German standards which are no longer imported.

Bomber. Color is a hazy dark yellow. Aroma is grassy and slightly dank. The taste unique, slightly sweet caramel and a citrus/grass/floral hops bitterness that’s mild and pleasant. I like this beer quite a bit, but not so much to want to have it regularly. I like it more than the rating it has here on ratebeer. SDalkoholic (2444) - Linda Vista, California, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Bottle from Ashur Liquor: Upon pour, created a gigantic sizing of head while the liquid was a straw blonde with a thin mist of haze set in equilibrium. In the nose, there is a mild scent of earthy hops that have an organic scent that not only hints towards a pinch of citrus such as orange but a undertone of whole grain wheat and other breads in the malt. The flavor is subtle with only a pinch of hop pellets but there is a sticky palate which I’m not sure is due to the hop or the grainy malts that do balance this IPA out compared to the IPA’s I’m used to that are brewed in California. Certainly an easily quaffed brew but there is an aftertaste of cheap perfume or cologne that I don’t necessarily favor. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 1, 2013
22 oz bottle served in a snifter.
Pours slightly hazy apricot-amber in color, with a modest, bubbly head that has limited retention. Grassy-citrusy-floral-bready aroma.
The wet-hop flavor comes through loud and clear, although not everyone will think this is a good thing. In any case, the flavor is quite herbal and vegetative compared to a typical pils or PA, and not as sharp or crisp. There’s a foreboding bitterness mid-taste that fades to a moderate-mild level by the finish. Hints of grapefruit peel, grass and citrus fruit.
O: glad to have the chance to try this special beer but not eager to make it a regular. DuffMan (10751) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 19, 2013
Bomber bottle, shared around the table at the end of the brewery tour. Hazy orange-gold, average white head. Sweet grainy malts paired with lightly citrus and grassy hops, slightly tangy. Tasty.

Tasted from a 22oz. bomber. Poured orange/amber in color with a short lasting, pale orange head. Taste is on the bitter side of hoppy. pablo951 (690) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 18, 2013
Had it out of a 22oz bottle and poured a hazy amber hue, with a light head and no lacing. Has a bitter caramel flavor. Brigadier (3780) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - MAR 7, 2013

Thanks to cbfobes for sending this is in a trade. The Central Waters version was also good. That said I am not sure about trying the rest. By now they are probably beginning to fade. Maybe if this makes an appearance at the Great Taste of the Midwest I’ll get another sample.
Aroma / Appearance - The bronze transparent base radiates warmth. Bright floral hops and resin are the base for a tropical tone set by fresh mango. This almost smells in some ways like a bottle of fresh Dreadnaught.
Flavor / Palate - Pineapples, rose hips, and a pleasant bitterness drive a top notch beer. Whatever the style I already miss its peachy finish. Laid back and relaxed it is perfect for chilling at home on a quiet evening.
Bottle at thirdeye11’s birthday party. Yellow with a white head. The aroma ha a lot of biscuit malt in it, as well as a hint of hop character. The flavor has some grassy hop notes and a bit of citrus, but the biscuit malt really comes through. Not bad, but not great. Lubiere (14240) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 26, 2013
A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy mocha head. In aroma, grassy caramel malt with smooth British hops. In mouth, a nice crisp grassy caramel malt with British hops, not bad. CASK. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.
