Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a light brown head. Toffee and light caramel aroma. Toffee and light roast flavor with light mineral, light vanilla, and light chocolate. Medium-plus bodied. Toffee and caramel lingers with light nuttiness, light mineral, and light chocolate. Drake (13739) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 24, 2012
Bomber shared at the 18th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering. This was a killer extra from Ghostface. Thanks! Pours a clear red-brown color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of chocolate, raisin and toasted malts. The taste is raisin, chocolate, nuts and bitter hops. Medium bodied, creamy, smooth, average carbonation, low bitterness. Very nice beer, and not just because it has my name on it... obguthr (6359) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUN 24, 2012

Bottle @ 18th RG. Pretty dark with tan head. Smells like toasted caramel and tart and char. Tastes sweet and roasty. Syrupy. Dorwart (2590) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Nice milk chocolate colored head of varying sized bubbles. Rich malty aroma with some malted milk balls, roasted grains, a touch of mild coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Color is a very dark brown. Robust palate with lots of roasted grains, more dark chocolate, burnt toast and a decent hoppy bittereness. Rather dry palate and minimal alcohol presence. This brew needs more sweetness in order for it to be a baltic porter. Lacking some malts to give it more body. Still a very good porter though.

Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aromas of dill, chocolate and coffee. Full bodied. Hint of smoke. Otherwise flavor per aroma. Smooth with just a bit of head. Finishes approaching dry. marcus (10231) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Bottle from Star Grocery, Berkeley. Pours black with an attractive tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a smooth chocolate and treacle flavor that is slightly thin yet tasty. IrishBoy (4200) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Nose is chocolate, very light smoke, and a spicy hint. Black with a medium tan head. Flavor is chocolate and caramel from the thin body. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Bottle:   Pours black, deep cola edges, thin whispy light beige head, falls quickly, little lacing.   Soft roast on the nose, a bit of cold coffee, fig, and dark chocolate.   All parts subtle, but they are there.   Perhaps a bit of smoke as well.   Stale figgy flavors, some dark pitted fruit, light roastiness, smidgen of cold coffee and dark chocolate.   Not real robust, body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Somewhat of a pruny pale roasty finish.   Needs to be more robust. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Black with a large brown head that patiently fades leaving lace in its wake. Aroma of dark roasted malts, toffee, molasses, mild chocolate and a hint of nuts. Taste of chocolate, molasses, alcohol, dark roasted malts, sugar, dark fruits and a touch of nuts. Finishes up a touch dry. Pretty solid effort.
