1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Interesting beer I don’t think that I have have a gluten free beer before. not much of a head very clear pour faint beer aromas, sharp aftertaste. I would recommend it to people that can’t drink real beer but this would not be my go to beer.
12 oz bottle. Pours pale straw with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of sour dough and not much more. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of sour apples and a hint of hops. Finish is long and dry. Taste is like a good cider. john_hops_kinz (26) - - JUL 11, 2017
New Grist Pilsner: It tastes like sake, bananas, and a mouthful of nickels. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - OCT 24, 2016
Tap at Lakrfront. Seems refreshing after the heavier beer. Very light, not much to it. MrTipple (6424) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2016
Sweet citrus fruits, tangerine, sweet orange, molasses. Clear, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium sweet. Sugary, sweet citrus fruits, more tangerine, lively carbonation. Way too sweet Pilsner. Keg at brewery, Milwaukee. MrBeerFanatic (1069) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JUN 26, 2016
Light pale yellow almost no head. Aromas straw, faded toffee, sour yeast. Flavors sour yeasty, faded straw, light grass. Overall there is a slight weird noticeable difference from the standard pilsners and lagers. Light sweet, slight sour, slight spice impressions.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 8/15/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear pale straw color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, cracker, honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Solid aromas with balanced sorghum and earthy hop notes; with poor strength. Taste of lemon cracker, honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice robustness and balance of sorghum and earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky, and slightly grainy/creamy mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a solid gluten free pilsener style. Good robustness and balance of sorghum and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. A fairly enjoyable offering. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2016

12 oz. bottle. Poured clear golden, white head. Aroma was fruity, citrus and some yeast. Taste was sweet, and apple juice like. 1pintatatime (176) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 25, 2016
Pours almost champagne colored from a bottle. Aroma is sweet, almost like cider. Taste is crisp and again, very much like a cider. There’s a bit of what I describe as a home brew flavor in the finish. Block (3183) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - MAR 24, 2016
Pale pour, white head. Aroma of grass, apples, yeast. Flavor is pretty much shit. It’s like a bad cider mixed with stale bread.
