Deep gold body topped off with a soapy head; lacing was o.k. Taste is medium malts with a nice hop - citrus and thinner towards the end. At the finish, there's a nice big rush of fruit and hop that should've stayed around longer. Wrath (362) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - MAY 12, 2003
Light color with light aroma. A little head. Flavor is a bitter hoppy flavor that is kind of rough. The finish was a carbonated medicine feel. Not a fan of organic beer i guess. iwantalambic (1478) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 10, 2003
Looks like apple juice. . . Wet doghair aroma that burns the nose hairs. Tears of sorrow trickle down my face as I taste the first sip -> it is absolutely horrible. . . Sorry, but there is nothing else to say. Jokes (1453) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2003
Clear hay with very little head. The aroma is hard to find in this one. But, after much searching, it proved to be for the worse. Nothing special in the nose. The flavor here was pretty bad. ThomW (35) - USA - JAN 17, 2003
Flower aroma, light in color. Nice sour grape flavor. Best organic I have had.

Very light and crisp, but little distinctive flavor. Pretty bland and uninteresting. Pjones6738 (500) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2002
Light golden color, little head. Slightly hoppy aroma. Well, its bitter, which is the point I suppose. Tastes kind of like swimming pool water. Yech. Gunshy (479) - Ohio, USA - NOV 24, 2002
This beer poured a dark golden color and formed a nice white head that subsided quickly and left some lace. The aroma was of hops and malt with a slight fruit aspect. The flaor was of hops and malt with citrus overtones. The finish was astrigent, but not bad.

ewww-what the hell is this? stale bread? This was awful!! no head, off beige color, terrible nose-just plain bad!!! i had 3 sips and i dumped it. GPyott (67) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 4, 2002
A very uninspired ESB. Light, watery and missing just about all of the qualities I enjoy in a traditional Bitter. If this is what to expect from organic beers, I’ll be sure to stay far way.
