orange brown body has no head. The aroma is spicy with cinnamon and cloves. The flavor has a lot of cloves and a bit of pumpkin with a bit of honey. FlyingSwine (174) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - OCT 23, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a dark gold, with a decent off-white head. Lots of tiny little bits of stuff floating about. No lacing. Aroma is fairly nasty...like a bad aftershave. You can discern some spice, but whatever it is, it isn’t pleasing. Flavor is fairly flat, with some pumpkin (fresh pumpkin not pumpkin pie), maybe a bit of cinnamon, and some pepper. Palate is light-medium body, with a bit of spritz. Finishes slightly bitter and dry. Not particularly refreshing. Overall this was an interesting beer, but a disappointment for me. gormanb (174) - Bowling Green, Ohio, USA - NOV 5, 2010
aroma- pumpkin, cinnamon, brown sugar, grass. pours hazy gold. taste is very well balanced pumpkin, spice, brown sugar, with a clean lager finish. Not too sweet and light in body. i really enjoyed this pumpkin session beer. redmosquito (172) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - AUG 16, 2004
Orange in color with a brown tinted head. Lightly spiced, and sweet aroma. The big and malty flavor holds the spices in check and the body makes this feel like a meal. One of my two favorites in the pumpkin beer category. balke13 (156) - MIssoula, Montana, USA - FEB 11, 2005
Orange color with a white head...nothing too impressive. Strong pumpkin and clove aroma with some pepper, nutmeg and ketchup? Bready flavor as well as the obvious pumpkin and sweet malt with a dry finish.

** 12 oz bottle. Very nice, spicy nose. The taste was fruity without being overly pumpkiny and had a nice balance of spiciness. Not so much my style but I actually really enjoyed drinking this one. ROBC3366 (148) - north reading, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Pours a dark clear orange and smells of pumpkin spices and raisens. Tastes of a pumpkin pie and spices

Pours a orange/copper color, with a slight head. With lots of pumpkin and cinnamon aroma. Nice hints of pumpkin and spice with a little hop flavor. Overall good pumpkin beer. scrawfis (143) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - OCT 3, 2001
Nice combination of clove and nutmeg spices along with a subtle backdrop of pumpkin flavor. Definite winner. iggynelix (136) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2013
Aromas of lager with faint pumpkin fruit notes under clove and cinnamon. A delicious lager that does not overdo the spice footer the season. Bottle from bottle shop.
