Cloudy gold pour with a small head. Aroma of caramel malt, light yeast and fruit. Flavor is similar. Nice. daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 31, 2011
Orangish pour. Oranges, wheat, honey, crackers, bread. Flavor is sweet and bready, yeasty, spicy. Not bad at all! EricE (1372) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 14, 2010
Hazy orange-yellow pour with a white head. Stale grain aroma with sweaty funk. Sweet flavorless water. Skunky with a bitter finish. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 24, 2010
Murky light orange-amber with a bubbly white head, lightly grainy. Lightly earthy, bubblegum, a bit overly sweet. Flavor some bitterness to hit the jaw, light yeast and dough. A bit overcarbonated, harsh grainy finish though a bit of spice saves the finish. Travlr (26130) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 27, 2010
22 ounce bottle courtesy of CaptainCougar, thanks very much! This was pretty straightforward, caramel malt flavor and not much else.

22oz. Poured a slightly hazy yellow with a thin, white head leaving spotty to almost no lace. Aroma is straw, dough, lemon. Taste is spicy, light-bodied, slightly citric tart, creamy to mostly thin. BeerandBlues2 (13823) - Escondido, California, USA - OCT 25, 2010
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a medium, fizzy white head, low retention with light lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (straw, hay, bread), light hops (spicy), and average esters (citrus) with farmhouse notes. Flavor is heavy malt (straw, hay, bread), light hops (spicy), and average esters (citrus) with farmhouse notes and a light stomach acid taste. Light body, warmth, and creaminess, medium carbonation and a dry finish. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden bronze with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet toasty light caramel malty nose with a touch of piny grassy hops and doughy yeast. Starts with good fullness and a chewy caramel malty sweetness with good bitter hop balance and authenticity before a drier crisp finish. A fairly true to style and drinkable biere de garde. ryan (3185) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Sweet, one dimensional nose, some honey and gold fruits. Taste is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, rather astringent with peppery and over stressed yeast. Stensler (14) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 4, 2010
Minimally cloudy gold/red pour. Thick whitish head. Slightly citrus aroma. Medium bitterness and some slight sourness. Almost salty but not quite. Very slight buttery aftertaste that lingers.
It isn’t really my kind of beer.
