COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like a Northwest France strong summer ales - quenching and refreshing, but robust enough to match the full-bodied fare of a brasserie. Rendezvous Ale is a hybrid of malty richness and enough hops acidity (Brewer’s Gold, Tradition) to cut through the strong flavors of roasted lapin au moutarde, or a burly beef steak fries.

22 oz bomber from Evergreen Discount. Deep copper and a little hazy with an off-white head. The aroma is malty and rich with caramel, milk chocolate, vanilla, bread/toast, yeast and dark fruity esters. Similar flavor with medium sweetness and a touch of bitterness. Slick, creamy feel to a medium body with soft carbonation and a lingering sweet finish.

65cl bottle to tulip glass, beer pours a dark hazy amber with an off white head. There are floaties in attendance. Aroma...smells dead on exactly like one of my homebrew Belgians...cherry, banana, lemon, grass, orange floor cleaner. Taste is...odd...starts sweet then drops off to almost nothing but a super light bitterness and it doesn’t taste all that great. Palate...way out of balance, co2 medium...mouthfeel thin. Overall...this is just weird but not shitty like most macros....2.3 for effort.....

11/12/13 trade from Jamil. Grapes and caramel scent with a copper pour, low head, and a medium cloying feel taste is toffee, malt, vinous, and slightly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yeast, funk, slightly sour bier de garde. Earthy and malt notes. Not my favorite of this style.

WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - OCT 29, 2013
Bomber. Hazy light amber, egg head. Nose is quite sweet... dried cantaloupe, toffee, spice. Flavour is white raisin, caramel, dusty. Finish is drier than the taste. Nothing mind-blowing, but fine.

RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 21, 2013
Nose is sweet orange, caramel, grapefruit. Flavour is the same with a grainy feel and some spice. Alcohol is apparent, warm and inviting.

DuffMan (10610) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 17, 2013
Big bottle, shared round the table @ the brewery. Medium bronze body, lively white head. Sweet honey and soft esters, no real hop character. A milder belgian style ale. Kind of "meh" about this one.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2013 Pours translucent copper with a small head. I’ve had beera that taste just like this but cant quite put my finger on it. First taste is feint with sweet maltiness. Finishes with bitter hoppiness. Nothing special imo.

Bottle at SBWF 2013. Pours dark amber. Malt dominated, caramell, light sweetness, spicyness in the background.

Dark caramel amber pour, nice carbination, medium creamy tan head, lasting. Alcohol, dark fruit, caramel, toffee. Medium body. Sweet. Spices. A little booze. No bitterness. Creamy and flavorful. Maybe too sweet.
