Bubbly light gold, finger of white. Nose is hay and malt. Middle is medium bodied malt, mild earthy hop bitternes. Finish is somewhat dry, but still malty. Pretty good.

A little above average. No real aroma. Standard yellow-gold color with a good head. Flavors were cereal with a slight hop touch. Light weight.

On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings (Abilene, TX). Pours a very clear straw color; slowly dissipating creamy white head with a bit of sticky lacing. Aroma of slightly toasted grain with biscuit notes and a faint soapy character. Taste is crisp and lager-like, light grain flavors and a little bitterness without any major hints of hops. Medium carbonation and quite dry, a hint of sweet grains in the aftertaste. Very drinkable, with more spritziness it would be terrific.

Got this in the CAN. Poured up a clear golden with a decent head and smells about like other Kolsch beers I have had. Taste is pretty typical too. It does go down easy making it a highly chuggable brew.

Shaker pint draft at the Lakewood Brewing Company in Garland, Texas. The pour is a clear golden with a smaller white head. The aroma is clean cereal malt with grass hay hops and a hint of malt sweetness towards the back. The taste is clean cereal grain, softly sweet, with grass and some mineral to the crisp finish. The mineral gets a bit dirty as the beer warms, but doesn’t detract too much. The palate is light to medium bodied with a bright carbonation and dry mineral finish. Well made Kolsch, I enjoyed this one.
