Bottle I’m not 100% sure when I found it but possibly Wichita Falls. Slight gusher on opening and pour that results in a huge brown head that lasts forever. The aroma is light chocolate, hints of spice and a little booze. The flavor starts with chocolate and a little spice. The flavor finishes with a note of coffee cake. Nice enough. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JAN 5, 2017
Pours pitch black with a small beige ring. Smells strongly of coffee and chicory. Taste is bitter, coffee and chicory, hints of sweetness. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Lakewood French Quarter Temptress finishes with a lingering earthiness. onceblind (9708) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 27, 2016
Black pour with a thin rocky tan head. Big sultry nose with lots of oak and roasted black malt and a kiss of chickory and coffee. Lots of char and roasted black malt on the nose, deep earthy coffee and a little bourbon (but not very brown sugary), with a roasted oak finish. Pours oily black with a quickly receding light brown lacing. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Taste is coffee, a little alcohol and vanilla. Very nice dfinney23 (3323) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Finally stumbled across this at Spec’s after having already tasted all the other bottled varieties of Temptress. I don’t drink enough chicory to have recognized the flavor without reading the label but yeah, that’s what that mild nuttiness tastes like. Interesting and nicely balanced.

Black in color with a tan head that settles off. Coffe, sweet milk stout roast with some light spiced notes in the aroma. Sweet light roast with a prominent but balanced coffee flavor with light booze and wood character.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2016 22oz bottle. Pours black with a massive foamy tan head. Aroma is lactose, vanilla, chocolate, and sweet malt. Taste is alcohol, lactose, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, and hazelnut. Overall, the taste is a little too sweet, but strong. Finish is coffee, oak, and chicory. Full body. Average carbonation. Mouthfeel is somewhat creamy, bordering on foamy, but strangely oily and slick. MrBeerFanatic (1059) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - MAR 27, 2016
