Were no monks, but our Belgian-style IPA gives a tip of the hat to our divine brethren. Brewed with rich malt, noble hops, Trappist yeast and a kick of coriander, this is one complex beer. Hop Trapp pours with a refined bitter backbone, floral hoppy notes and a decidedly Belgian finish. This brew is worthy of some serious contemplation.

June 2015. Travelled to a terminal that wasnt based on food stamps. Lost in Dallas somewhere but found a borderline mexican foodery with actual taps I give a shit about. Maybe Qdoba? That probably isnt right as it looks like random letters pulled out of a bag. Beeeer- interesting. Bold yet simple and odd. Heated hops, dark caramel, pepper that isnt pepper spice that I sometimes find in ipss, darker caramel, light citrus, lighter pine, not sweet but slighly berry like. Hops really catching up and imparting a very heavy after taste. Extra points for meanness.

On draft at Frankie's in Fort Worth. A rich amber color with almost no head. Does not really taste like an IPA - tastes like IPA crossed with a wheat bear. Caramel, some pine and a bubble gum-esque quality. All up front, kind of mellows - this is not really for me, but I could see others digging it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark and cloudy brown/amber color with a lot of foam, more than any beer ive had yet and has medium amount of carbonation. Has a bit of a floral/ earthy and malt aroma. Has a strong but great taste, a bit of a citrus bitter taste, you can also tell that theres yeast in it. Leaves the tongue a little dry afterwards but overall a good beer.

Draft at DFW airport. Murky copper. Little head retention. Nice sipper with a hint of wildness maybe even a little herb. Decent. (#5953, 4/3/2015)

Bottle: Poured an amber color with a off white head. Aroma is yeast esters. Taste is a meld of yeast, metallic hops, and balanced malt.

12 fl. oz. bottle, thanks Chumly! Mostly clear orange copper, tan foam settles and lasts. Aroma is more floral, citrus, yeast and mild c-malt. Lightly bitter, slightly floral hop taste, citric, faint spice, lean toasted caramel malt, some Belgian yeast. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Surprisingly tasty subtle hybrid. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

A hazed orange amber ipa with a thick frothy mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with grassy floral hops, resinous character, grapefruit pulp, very nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with loads of resinous floral hops, treacle, clover field, nice and balanced. On tap at gas money, DFW.
