Copper/amber with a small beige head.
Caramel, some cardboard in the aroma.
Taste is caramel malt, moderate leafy/grassy bittering.
Ok, but a little weedy with a touch of a soapy note. Jpmercer (122) - shakopee, Minnesota, USA - FEB 16, 2018
Lakewood is more than a place. It’s a state of mind. Old blends with new. Traditions hook up with fresh ideas. It’s the same with our Lakewood Lager. We’ve taken old world Vienna-Style lager and given it our own touch. Subtle caramel aromas, a coppery pour and a light malty sweetness paired with noble hop bitterness set this beer apart. In with the old, in with the new.

Bottle. Caramel malt and weedy grass aroma. Amber with moderate off-white head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, and moderately bitter quinine and hay flavor. Decent body. tapefuzz (1023) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 10, 2018
12oz bottle. Pours copper-caramel with a moderate off-white head. Aroma is grain, caramel, yeast, a little soap, and toast. Taste is grain, caramel, yeast, metal, toast, and grass. Bitter. A lingering mess of yeast, grass, and spice. Too sweet up front. Light-medium body. Lively carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. brandon1989 (713) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - DEC 27, 2017
Pours a clear copper color with a thin egg shell colored head. The aroma is malty, white bread dough, and some spice. The flavor is similar to the aroma with some caramel notes coming through as wel. The mouthfeel is light and has some bitterness to round it off.

Pretty basic lager to me. I'm not gonna go out of my way to find it. Just light plain drink, nothing special

From the 12 FL oz bottle dated 10/5/16. Reasonably fresh. Attractive amber pour with off-white head. The aroma brings out some caramel malt sweetness as it should with a woody character and Mild earthy hop note. Medium body. The taste is both sweet and bitter at the end. Lingers some. But I also pick up a distracting vegetable oil mess. theisti (4273) - Kansas, USA - NOV 6, 2016
Draft at the Grand Lux Cafe in the Galleria in Dallas, Texas. The pour is a slight haze copper reddish with a small, well formed white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, along with a hint of grassiness. The taste is nice bread malt up front, turning to the caramel malt which also shows some apple fruit sweetness. There is a touch of the grass in the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, active carbonation, clean dry finish. Easy drinking, solid Amber Lager. This is one of the best Vienna Lagers I’ve ever had. Pours dark amber with a lasting head. Nice malt aroma of biscuit and caramel malts. Medium body with an excellent hop balance with the malt showcasing this beer. An excellent example of this style. djd07 (16524) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 30, 2016
On tap at Stanleys. Pours a hazy copper with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and caramel. Medium mouth, rich malt, caramel, light finish, decent.
