Pours dark mahogany with a medium sized beige head. Smells malty and full of fall flavored spices. Taste is malty sweetness with some spice. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Lakewood Punkel finishes with a sweet spiciness. alcamp99 (72) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Nice autumn seasonal offering from local brewer. Spicy as advertised. Hearty dunkel. Another Lakewood hit.

Dark brown brew that smells of spice. Taste is very spicy with a little bit of sweetness hiding in there. Very good brew and one that I hope to get more during October instead of January. Even though I am a little late it was still very satisfying on this chilly day. dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - SEP 4, 2013
On tap at The Common Table. Pours a Deep mahogany with a thin white head. The aromas are cinnamon, pumpkin, spice. The mouthfeel is watery, bready and has a light body with good carbonation. Good Beer! Cheers! llcooldave (1226) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Pours a dark leathery brown in the glass. Spicy pumpkin spice aroma. Flavor of toasty malt with an aftertaste of more spicy malt notes like a dark pumpkin spice bread with a touch of molasses. Overall, an extremely delicious brew. Thanks BarZigKin!

6-pack picked up at Cheers with Zac. I was surprised by the lower ratings here because for me this was a nice pumpkin brew. I liked how it wasn’t just overpowering spice. This had some of the vegetal pumpkin notes to add some depth. Plus the base dunkel was nice too. I would happily buy this each fall/winter. skinnycheeks (31) - - FEB 1, 2014

Pours a dark brown with tan head. Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, a hint of clove and vanilla with a faint touch of chocolate. Flavor is very much the same with a light hop bitter finish. Medium, soft mouthfeel with medium-high carbonation
