August 2017 - Bottle share at GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'Lambrate Ciocch'. Hazy orange, translucent, still, foamy off-white head. Aroma is white chocolate and cocoa butter. Quite nice and delivers on expectations. Body is light with tingly carbonation. Taste is astringent and watery, buttery with some light grains, faint salt. Find this a bit weird. Not for me. Liked the aroma but then it falls flat. (7-4-4-3-11=2.9) madmitch76 (27432) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2017

GBBF Day 3. Bottle. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, sweetish, little cream. Clear milk chocolate and lesser white chocolate, well integrated. Good orange and tangerine, More chocolate. Mild bitterness on the light finish. Not that salty or lager like but a pleasant affair all round.
Bottle. Clear golden body with a dense off-white head. Aroma is light with some malt and surprisingly no chocolate. The flavor actually has a distinct touch of chocolate, not very strong in the start, but definitively chocolate. Medium body and some malt and chocolate in aftertaste. A pretty unusually beer as chocolate flavor as chocolate normally to be find in darker ales, and this one is a golden lager type of beer. Not bad, it’s kind of working but still not totally balanced. Might be a novelty but I’m glad to have tasted it. The salt by the way is not very present. mR_fr0g (14779) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2017

Sweet malty aroma, some vague cakey hint. Flecky straw, persistent frothy head, cave paintings for lacing. Full smooth palate, gentle carbonation. Very sweet taste, fruity and zesty, but the cocoa comes over more as the dark novelty erasers I had as a kid than anything else. Finish pleasantly bitter, but that can’t save it.
330ml bottle. Clear dark golden color. Medium plus size, thick white head, stays. Soap, fruity, sweet, grainy in aroma. Sweet, dark chocolate, bubblegum, grainy in taste. Wholewheat chocolate and sweet in aftertaste. Quite flat. Sweet but drinkable. martjoobolut (5675) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 15, 2017

Hazy gold with a big fluffy head. Aroma fairly clean, touch of sulfur but no chocolate to speak of. Taste had some initial chocolate notes but then mostly salt, which lingered on palate. Interesting, if not actually good.
