UPDATED: APR 7, 2018 Bevuta il 07/04/2018 @BrianzaBeerFestival in Mariano Comense (CO). Taster 10cl. Nera con riflessi nocciola. Al naso forte nocciola, ricordo di cioccolato gianduia. In bocca è vellutata, corposa, dolcissimi note di cioccolato e nocciola, gianduiotto. Peccato per la texture un po' watery.

330ml bottle. Clear dark chestnut color. Small size, brown head, stays. Sweet, cocoa, sugary, powder in aroma. Cocoa powder, sweet, sugary and some hazelnut in taste. Spicy and cocoa powder and hazelnut in aftertaste. Spicy mouthfeel. Solid brew.

kraddel (9680) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - MAR 11, 2018
Tap at the brewpub. Pours deep black, tanned, medium but very stable, creamy white head, that is so thick it can sustain differences in hight . Some lacing as well, more due to creamyness than iso alpha acids. Smell is very roasty. Doesnt give up the hazelnut just yet. Chocolate, as well as a mild coffee aspect. Taste is strong, bitter, roadty, dark chocolate, coffee, metallic (not an off flavor, but a comon taste to me in porters ) hazelnut is really hidden, and I expected an in your face, omnipollo kinda thing reading some of the previous ratings. Certainly a nice porter, but the hazelnut ? I dont really get that..

Aminatchime (287) - BELGIUM - MAR 11, 2018
Donker zwarte kleur met beige schuimkraag. Geur is cacao, chocolade en nootjes. Smaak is sterk geroosterd, bitter, chocolade, nutella. Voor mij iets te bitter.

Bamsen78 (5764) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2018
Draught @ Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà, Rome. Pours cloudy dark coffee brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of chocolate and nuts, with notes of yeast and malt. Roasty flavour with malty and nutty notes and touches of yeast and dark chocolate. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Complex and good.

@ BXLfest 2017.

Sebilinz (2871) - Linz, AUSTRIA - SEP 4, 2017

herrklemann (680) - Graz, AUSTRIA - SEP 3, 2017
Tap at Bevog Festival 2017. Nutella, roasty nuts, cocoa, dark chocolate. Dry, lightly roasty, light bitterness. Medium body with light carbonation. The real surprise is how dry this one is. Really, really nice.
