From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours a beautiful dark amber with red reflections. Aroma is weak, of malt. Body is relatively dense. Taste is sweet at first, with a nice bitterness coming up later. Finish is medium-long with moderate bitterness and sweetness. phfyysik (1396) - Tartu, ESTONIA - JUN 8, 2017
Tap @ Koht, Tallinn. Pours brown with high off-white head. Aroma is sour, grass, old berries, some juice. Taste is quite same, berry cake, sour, some fruits, light leaves. Nice beer! Travlr (25876) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 12, 2017
Draft at the pub. This one was slightly more bitter than the regular bock, But still pretty tasty. Decent stuff. Korcz (3389) - Warsaw, POLAND - NOV 24, 2016

(tap at Lambrate Pub, Milan) under medium aroma - sweet malt, caramel, bread, cereals, yeasts.
medium taste - herbal hop with a pleasant bitterness, caramel, flowers, a bit fermented fruits, a bit of sweetness, some yeasts. good and qualitative, well balanced. L_Lovecraft (695) - - NOV 2, 2016
Caramel and fruits notes, clear reddish/violet with practically no head, light/medium body, law carbonation, too hoppy for the style for me...not bad but not great. ThreeCats (1001) - ISRAEL - OCT 26, 2016
Clear mahogany with a tan head. Aroma is a mix of caramel, dark fruit, and zest, very intriguing. Taste is less of a double bock and more cascadadian brown ale. Doesn’t have the sweetness or fullness you’d expect from a double bock, rather it’s drier and hoppier. MrTipple (6000) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2016
Toffee, caramel, light lactose, lightly salted, burn molasses. Clear, dark brown, medium, creamy, beige head. Medium sweet. More caramel, dark, toasted malts, sweet, dark fruits, soft carbonation, full bodied. Very nice Doppelbock, rich and sweet. Keg at The Italian Job, Chiswick.
