COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale in Belgian Strong Golden Ale style.Orange coloured. On the nose, it features caramel notes followed by interesting citrus, yellow fruit and tropical fruit scents, deriving from the use of New Zealand hopper. In the mouth, it has a neat fruity apricot and pineapple taste followed by a slight bitter taste. 16°

Mortlach (2531) - Rome, ITALY - APR 19, 2014
08/04/2014 Bir&Fud (tap). Dorata, pallida, torbida, schiuma media bianco sporca, abbastanza persistente. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Ottima belgian ale, decisamente sottovalutata nei rating!

Tap at 4:20 in Rome-Italy with Morty. Ciao Mortlach. Semi clear ancient golden pour, creamy head. Nose: crumb, almonds, grass as hell. Mouth: very balanced, I spot a German character, malts and noble hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden color. Nice malt and hop aroma. Good sweet body, malty; lightly fruity (banana).

Mi aspettavo qualcosina di più, comunque. Molto gradevole, mielosetta e leggermente fruttate, appena agrumata. Alcool non invadente, non difficile da buttar giu!

CEZ (420) - Milano, ITALY - DEC 2, 2005
[on tap. dec 2005] Amber color, medium-sized white head. Caramel and orange in the aroma. Rather similar in overall character and taste to the regular "Lambrate" ale, only with a golden color. Candied fruit, orange, flowery notes. Very drinkable despite the7% ABV, medium-bodied, rather good balance (sweet but not syrupy).

Light yellow colored with hazy appearance. Hopped-lemony aroma with some sweet fruitiness, good aroma indeed. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar:biting with hops and flowery grassy note, aftertaste is even more hopped. Very good brew.
