Ale in Belgian Strong Golden Ale style.Orange coloured. On the nose, it features caramel notes followed by interesting citrus, yellow fruit and tropical fruit scents, deriving from the use of New Zealand hopper. Drank as a draught with pizza. Slightly sweet taste with malty flavours. Quite ok beer!

Bottle. Orange amber almost clear pour, white head. Nose is slightly messy, ripe fruits, yeast, peach, berries. Flavor is a bit strange, herbal bitterness, fruity and slightly sweet notes, malt, yeast. Hops in the finish with more slightly sweet yeast. Vaguely "belgian", but lacks focus and finesse.

Bottle at Papsø. Cloudy golden coloured with a small white head. Sweett aroma of fruits, herbs and spices. Fruity flavour of spices, beeries and hops. Tart finish of berries.

Weniger gut. Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,8,8,7,-,8 - 8,26

330ml bottle - Thanks Kairi!
OK, I guess I detect some belgian yeast fingerprint in the aroma, it’ sweet, malty, fruity, and with a hint of grunginess, but more disturbingly, I get cheesypoofs. Sweet malty taste, slightly almondy, a bit plasticky too. Slightly harsh bitter finish. Burnt plastic. Finished the portion, that’s as positive as I can be.
