Aroma of more peaches and oranges. Has some head and a foggy gold body. Flavour is crisp orange with grain hints. Medium on the mouth. It’s just okay again, a common them at this place it seems. muzzlehatch (4970) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 31, 2003
Nicely colored, clean and simple malty lager. Not bad at all, but also not much going on. Slightly bready. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 26, 2003
Not so different from the Vollbier actually. On tap, this appears pretty much the same color slightly more biscuity sweet while the vollbier was drier. Good, but nothing more. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2006
Golden copper with a thin off white head., veering on oily. Sweet caramel and light vanilla notes. In mouth, a sweet malt with a bit of maple, not very hoppy, with a lightluy oily mouthfeel. A bit thin. On tap, August 5, 2006. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 15, 2009
Pint at the brewpub. Red amber. Light lasting head. Light flavour. Bready caramel.

On tap at L’Amère à Boire, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is pretty bland, with bready malts and light herbal notes. Flavour is a bit fruity, with dry bready malts. Slightly more exciting than the Vollbier, with the added fruitiness. Decent, but still bland. tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 6, 2003
Little aroma. Nice amber colour with decent white head. Rather anonymous middle of the road flavour. Nothing assertive about this beer. Not a bad beer by any means but not one of the best at this fine brewpub. On tap. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 27, 2006
Clear copper with a quickly diminishing white head. Bready malt aroma. Not very tasty and very simple. Some diluted caramel, a bit bready with some none-bitter floral hops. Medium and oily body. A decent easy-to-drink pub brew but too simple for me to give it the passing mark of 3.0. Named after a czech dragon that accepted to stop setting everything on fire in exchange for a barrel of this beer. Dragons are powerful creatures but which such business acumen it’s no wonder they lived in caves. JulienHuxley (5909) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 5, 2010
On tap. Copper amber appearance. Aroma is light spice, caramel malt; very simple. More powerful flavors but somewhat harsh. Aggressive citrus hops, cereal and herbal bitterness. Fizzy carbonation with average mouthfeel. Not very enjoyable. rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 14, 2009
en fût sur place, bière rousse-rougeâtre, mousse blanche, nez malté, caramel, bouche agréable, très malté avec une pointe de caramel.
