Has a strong sweet banana aroma like a fruit beer or perhaps even that terrible banana gueuze I had years back. Decent foamy head on the thing, foggy gold body. Flavour is more bananas and wheat dough. Sweet finish. It’s a drinkable but forgettable brew.

Could use a little more banana flavor, could do with a lighter hand on the spices. On tap at the brewpub.

draft at brewery, meh. lightly clovey, moderate bananas. Very thin body, very tame.

On tap @ L’Amere A Boire. Hazed, milky golden pour with white foam. Kind of a lemony aroma with some bread, banana, and walnut. Mild yeast and citrus. Flavor is a little on the sweet side. Kind of lemony, too. A lot of banana bread and some citrus peel. Mild yeast. Okay, a little too tangy, but still pretty nice.

En fût à l’Amére à boire. Couleur jaune foncée, mousse blanche. Arôme de banane et épices. En buche, malt, des notes de levures, blé. Très bien faite.

Pale golden yellow pour. Tight head. The aroma is spicy and fruity. Leans more clove than banana with a touch of other spice as well. Light bodied. Wheat doesn’t really come through. It doesn’t totally work for me. Phenolic and thin.

On tap at the brewpub. A cloudy light gold with a filmy white head gives it the classic weizen look. Earthy wheat and light spice makes for an unsatisfying nose. A nice smooth mouthfeel and full body. The taste is earthy, sweet spicy and buttery diacetyl. Ugh. Fail.

On tap. Pours a opaque golden yellow with a soft, white head. Aroma has lots of banana and citrus. Taste is a balanced bitter with a clean finish. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly creamy texture. Probably on beer gas. Overall very nice. Lots of banana with a full, creamy mouth feel. Yum!

Biscuit, banana. Creamy banana, wheat bread, fruity finish. Lovely crafted hefe, well rounded and enjoyable.
