English pale ale for sure (or the saaz hops from the wonderful pils they brew there had thrown my palate off). It has a nice fruity yeast profile with a bread, malty character. It was served on the hand pump. Overall it was pretty much flawless but quite average for a cask pale ale. It could use more finishing hops. Pale amber coloured. Dry and flowery with grapefruit aroma.

Aroma- mild hops.

Malt balanced. Very slight hop flavour with a sweet clean malt finish.
