Is my taste for hops diminishing on this long sampling night? Perhaps in this, around my 20th of that Saturday night, this is evident. Faint caramel/citrus in the nose, but I don't have much else besides "this is bland." dhurtubise (568) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 16, 2002
English pale ale for sure (or the saaz hops from the wonderful pils they brew there had thrown my palate off). It has a nice fruity yeast profile with a bread, malty character. It was served on the hand pump. Overall it was pretty much flawless but quite average for a cask pale ale. It could use more finishing hops.
