Lammin Käki is slightly cloudy, orange-brown beer without head. Lot of sweet malts, berries (raspberry and red currant) is found for the pleasant aroma. Flavour is not so great than aroma; sour, not sweetness anymore and some berries is still found. You can find some juniper at the flavour (if you didn’t know that, maybe you wouldn’t find the needles). Too light and watery to drink and stronger body could be better. Strange, potential beer what have to buy another time when to sentiments could be even better than now. Christian (13927) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2009
Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Grainy malt and caramel aroma. Slightly tart, malty flavour sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2004

(Bottled) Deep amber-copper color with a smallish, bubbly head. Toffee-malty aroma with pine needles and some woody notes. Sweetish-malty flavor with a long, dryish and woody-berryish finish. Cant really find the juniper without knowing about it, but there certainly is some original and quite strong, woody-hoppy-like flavor. Light to medium-bodied with balanced carbonation. Interesting and quite balanced, but dont expect it to blow your mind. Quite close to some bitters.
(Draught, rated Aug 22, 2004, was 3-3-5-2-9=2.2) Hazy orange color with a very small head. Very mild, slightly stuffed aroma. Sour, light to medium-bodied quite thin, low-carbonated palate. Quite strange, too sour, not very pleasant brew.
, unfiltered) Very fruity with juniper and rye somewhat present. I wonder why they filter this, as its clearly better this way...
Draught @ Kekri, Gallows Bird, Finland. A bit sour, discusting smell. Medium brown colour. Fresh taste, some berries, orange and juniper. Sour, short finish. FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 13, 2007

Smells junipery, sweet and fruity. Tastes a bit light as a beer, the flavour is dominated by over-ripe bananas.

330ml bottle. Pumpkin colour, quickly dissipating head. Juniper and lightly roasted malt on the nose, but that fades and becomes a bland lageryness. Same eith the taste, which leaves little finish. Nowhere as good as the draught. (4-2-4-2-8=2.0)
rerate: 330ml bottle. (Sweeter, malts a touch plasticky. Juniper pleasant but very low in the mix. Mostly malty. (4-3-5-2-9=2.3)

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, while the flavor is plainly sweet malty. The body is thin. laiti (8531) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 18, 2013
33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 07.03.2009
Aroma is somewhat sour with juniper, sorbus and bready malt. Flavour is odd with bready malt, sorbus, some juniper and floral notes. Quite odd but not bad anyway.
