10th April 2013
Hamilton Hall Spoons. Almost clear pale gold beer, little white head. Palate is light, softish and with just modest carbonation. Brief sweet floral note followed by sweet citrus, mostly orange but a whisper of lemon. Mild minerals. Finishes neutral. Tasty beer, not particularly Pils like though.

Leighton (22307) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2013
Cask at the Hamilton Hall, JDW - London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a slight, white cream head. Toasted grains in the nose, some bread. Light sweet flavor with dry, dirty grains, some earth, toasted grass. Light bodied withfine carbonation. Lightly bitter to finish with more dry, toasted grains, mild sweetness, some dry grass, dirt. Not bad, but boring.

ManVsBeer (10951) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2013
Bright amber in colour with a frothy head. Has an ale texture but a slight lager sweetness and malt aroma. It’s lager qualities are probably most apparent in its aftertaste.

leaparsons (10765) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2013
Cask, William Wygston, Wigston. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are lightly nutty lager malts with lemon and yeast. Floral with peppery spices. Flavours are clean grain malts with peanuts and some lemon. Dry and peppery on the finish. Not bad.

downender (8891) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2013
On gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol April 2013. Golden with a slight white head. Easy drinking, with some sweetish, biscuity malts and a touch of fruit, before a decent bitter finish. Good.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2013
Cask conditioned gravity dispense Eastgate Northampton 05/04/13. A golden beer with a little off-white wisp of head. A sweetish lagery beer. Tropical fruits and flowery Saazy notes. A little vomit on the nose but otherwise pleasant enough.

berkshirejohn (6655) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2013
Cask at the Catherine Wheel (JDW), Henley. Amber with a tight cream head; sweet biscuity malt aroma; soft in the mouth with a thick, soupy, grainy body, some honey for sweetness and orangely fruit; with a gentle rising bitterness, part German hop, part grapefruit. Really satisfying, almost a meal in a glass.

Cask by handpump at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow - clear golden, thin bubbly white head, no detectable aroma, no lacing, bland, bittersweet, bitter finish
