Beese (2669) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 27, 2014
Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 12 April 2013. Poured a slightly hazy pale amber colour with a spotty white head. Light aroma; some grassy hop bitterness and a fair dose of lager malt. Somewhat sweet flavour; brown sugar and bready malt with some wet grass. Finish was fairly light, some residual malty sweet notes.

One to try your mates on if they only drink "lager". I’m a firm believer that lager can be good and this is a prime example. Clear golden beer; well hopped with a floral taste with a sweet malty aroma.

downender (8584) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2013
On gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol April 2013. Golden with a slight white head. Easy drinking, with some sweetish, biscuity malts and a touch of fruit, before a decent bitter finish. Good.

leaparsons (10499) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2013
Cask, William Wygston, Wigston. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are lightly nutty lager malts with lemon and yeast. Floral with peppery spices. Flavours are clean grain malts with peanuts and some lemon. Dry and peppery on the finish. Not bad.

berkshirejohn (6448) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2013
Cask at the Catherine Wheel (JDW), Henley. Amber with a tight cream head; sweet biscuity malt aroma; soft in the mouth with a thick, soupy, grainy body, some honey for sweetness and orangely fruit; with a gentle rising bitterness, part German hop, part grapefruit. Really satisfying, almost a meal in a glass.

10th April 2013
Hamilton Hall Spoons. Almost clear pale gold beer, little white head. Palate is light, softish and with just modest carbonation. Brief sweet floral note followed by sweet citrus, mostly orange but a whisper of lemon. Mild minerals. Finishes neutral. Tasty beer, not particularly Pils like though.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2013
Cask conditioned gravity dispense Eastgate Northampton 05/04/13. A golden beer with a little off-white wisp of head. A sweetish lagery beer. Tropical fruits and flowery Saazy notes. A little vomit on the nose but otherwise pleasant enough.
