Lancaster Blonde is a uniquely vivid golden bitter. Blonde has been designed to offer a quality cask conditioned ale to drinkers seeking a pale beer with real taste and aromatic impact. This most stylish and contemporary beer is crafted from pale Maris Otter Malt and carefully combined with Germanic style Munich Malt. The slightly citrus and delicate earthy aromas are created by a combination of First Gold and imported Saaz hops. The initial bitterness is followed by a delightful mouth feel culminating with a long dry finish

Poured amber with a white head. Really no lacing. Light aroma of bread, biscuit, something like that. Body held up. Flavor also. Not bad for $1. No lie.

Bottle. Pours a a bright gold colour with a thin white head, aroma is light and hoppy with hints of orange, the taste is light bitterness with a dry watery finish.

4.1% gold in colour with a nice head, fruity aroma and taste, not the best but ok.

Cask Half Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Nov 2009 - Very very pale straw in colour. Fruity; mildly grapefruit citrus. Hoppy; slightly earthy hops. Fruity slightly bitter hoppy throughout. Dry citrus hoppy finish. Not bad at all. Refreshing. (2009-11)

Bottle from Booths, Kirkby Lonsdale. Appearance - golden with a thin head that disappears quckly. Nose - lemon barley water. Taste - more lemon barley water, almost shandy-esque in fact. Light cardboard note at the back, but not too invasive. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly fresh finish. Overall - a bit simple and thin, to be honest.

500ml bottle, cold. Pours with no head to speak of. Not too gassy. Pale amber colour. Smells slightly caramelly. Taste is also a bit of caramel. Somewhat sweet, but really very pleasant. I could enjoy a few of these. I’d like to try the draught version.

A great all round easy drinking ale well served in a dimpled tankard that allows the fresh aroma and full citrus flavor to be enjoyed

The 6th blonde I tried at the night in Lancaster pubs. It tastes freshly bitter. The golden color is very nice.

Pint from cask with KL and LH at The Vine Inn, Manchester 08.05.15. Clear, pale golden. Dense and persistent off-white head. Fine aroma of pale malt and moderate hops. Similar taste, with evident malt. Round mouthfeel.

Pours like lager with a small lasting head very middle of the road blonde beer great for a session not for savouring could happily drink all night in the pub very unmemorable but nothing wrong with it.

jjsint (3089) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2015
Cask at the High Cross Inn, Broughton-in-Furness. Deep golden colour, flat. Lemony, metallic, cereal aroma. Mildly bitter, slightly sulphurous taste. Body is light to medium. So, just another golden ale basically.
