COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Originally brewed by Thwaites, the brand was contract brewed at Marston’s Wolverhampton plant (Banks’s) from 2013, then bought completely by Marston in March 2015. The brand initially continued to be sold under the Thwaites name and logo, but by 2016 the Thwaites name had been dropped.
"This rich amber beer is brewed with only the finest English ingredients. A prominent hop aroma and bitterness throughout is finely balanced with a full malt flavour, leading to a dry bitter finish."

beeebon (478) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2014
Pours a copper amber colour with a slightly tan coloured creamyish head which lingers. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, biscuit, slightly spicey and vaguely stewed fruit. Taste is medium sweet initially before balancing out with a light to medium bitterness which then works out quite dry on the finish. Noticable carbonation which mellows and not too watery in the mouth. Overall a pretty nice bitter!
