Cask (backlog). Goldeny otange colour with a small white head. Aroma is zesty, citrusy, bready and also has some nice sweet maltiness to it. Flavour is zesty, caramelly, floral and toffeeish with some mild nectary sweetness as well. Beese (2741) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2014
Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 11 Jul 2012. Poured a clear, mid golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of citrus, honey and grain. Bready malt flavours, with some tropical fruit and grassy hop. Finish was very light, with some dough, flowery notes and lemongrass. sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 31, 2012
Cask - The Glass House (JDW), Norwich. Poured a clear golden amber with a creamy, lasting & lacing one finger white head. Toasty, pale malts, grass & citrus aromas. Zesty lemon, lime flavours with a pithy, rindy bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp palate texture, a light spritz on the tongue with a lingering dry, hoppy finish. berkshirejohn (6501) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2012
Cask at the Old Gaolhouse (JDW), Winchester. Pale amber with a scummy cream head; sweet aroma with a touch of honey; soft and bready in the mouth, slightly sweet to start, but being drier with a light bitterness. Another very average Olympic beer - no gold medal here. zombie_2001 (1) - USA - AUG 7, 2012 does not count
Nice golden, clear pint with good head retention. Not much aroma. Sharp, citrus flavour with a dry finish.

Goodmans Fields ’Spoons. Light hazy on this gold beer, good white head. Light semi dry palate. The curse of Golden Ales strikes - a bit of sulphur. Mild orange citrus. Semi dry finish.
