From old tasting notes. Brewed at Independence Brewing Company. Orange copper color topped by a creamy beige head. Zesty fruity malt aroma. Tangy toasted malt flavor is nicely balanced by a charismatic citrus hoppiness. Good flavor. jsmerig (1663) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Pouts a light yellow gold. Aroma of malt and a bit if lager yeast. Taste is malty in the front with a slightly alcohol finish. Not bad

Vienna style amber lager with a light copper color and nice malt sweetness. Rich, and creamy. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2009
Sampler, at Lancaster location, labeled Fest Beer Amber Lager. Pours a clear copper body with a small off-white head. The nose is slightly sweet toasted malt with a little bit of caramel and Vienna malt. The flavor is fairly dry toasted malt, pretty clean and crisp, with no flaws. Not really an exciting example of the style, but it is pretty drinkable. Light to medium bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. This could use a bit more chewness, but it was OK.

Draft. Amber body off white head. Malty body hints of grain, citrus, and nuttiness. A thin earthiness about it as well. eh. Miver (609) - Silver Spring, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 8, 2008
Draft in Lancaster. Poured dark copper in color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of caramel malts, brown sugar, grain, with some mild floral hops. The taste is sweet with caramel malts, grainy, earthy, with a mild hop character. Typical Lancaster lager flavor. Jayb0 (1215) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - MAY 29, 2008
Tap at brewpub: Decent, somewhat softer, creamier palate than what seems the house style. Otherwise a bit indistinct but pleasant. JoeMcPhee (9517) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 12, 2008
Tap at the brewpub as the Festbier. Pale amber beer with a lightly flowery aroma. Soft sweetness as well. A little bit dusty and a little bit bland. Straw-like malts and some lingering floral hops. It seems a bit too similar to many of their other lagers. 3fourths (9356) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 19, 2008
Pint @ Lancaster Harrisburg. Orange copper colored body. Slick, wet palate, basic flavors of cracked barley, sweet caramel malt, a touch of brown sugar and rye, similar smell. Nothing spectacular, somewhat simple, and a little coarse/grainy, which I don’t like so much in Vienna. Tasted really similar to the Spring Bock.
