Pleasant sweet raspberry aroma, some simple light greains in teh taste, with gentle raspberry. Finish a bit herbal and grassy. Palate a bit watery, a bit flat, but also pleasantly full and sweetish. Interesting briefly, but it gets boring quickly. Not my style of beer.

Cask conditioned handpump Montagu Pyke London 09/04/14. A golden coloured beer with a white head and lace. A decent fruity beer. Definite raspberries which work with the European hops. Pretty good for this type of thing. s_hartshorne (2784) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2014

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Gold with a thick white head and a moderate prickly fizz. Macro lagery taste up front, and then rose (or some flower, anyway!) fondant. There’s a bit of raspberry leaf in the aftertaste and some sherbert. Pretty much does what it says on the tin; not sure I like it, but it could have been an awful lot worse. Quite like the balance of the added flavours actually; they’re not too overwhelming. It’s just a shame they’ve been added to a poor base beer- that hint of macro lager keeps resurfacing.
