Not bad. but overrated. Not as good as Yuengling Porter or even Michelob Porter. This beer has a deep, rich, brown color, medium to full body, and finishes with a smooth . It was good, perhaps above average. A little light for a porter -I thought.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2017 As a fan of shoo fly pie, I was really looking forward to this when I saw it. However, it left me wanting. It is good, it's just mostly vanilla with molasses showing up only on the back of the tongue very lightly. Malty, and an overall good porter. I wouldn't compare it to shoo fly though

Bottle from Thousands of Beers in Erie. Aroma of toasted malts, some vanilla, no molasses to speak of. Really thin palate.

Pours a dark brown with a thick off white head. Aroma of molasses, brown sugar, roast and vanilla. Taste follows. Pretty sweet but that’s what they are going for.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8164) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2016
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and toasty with vanilla, molasses and nut notes. The flavor was sweet with toffee, molasses, nut and vanilla. Long finish. medium body. Solid.

Poured a darker brown with an off white head. Aroma was vanilla, chocolate. Flavor similar, a bit too much vanilla for me, but a bit under ate and hated on because of the brewer.

Aroma - has some marshmallow and roast Appearance - dark brown body with an off-white head that settles out to a 1/4" head. Taste - is a nice bit of roast, a little nice dark sugar - possibly rich molasses, and some vanilla Palate - not overly thick, a bit of fizz, and some lasting roast. Nice little beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It is what it says. Sugary and sweet with Brown sugars and molasses. Deep black color, but transparent. Light chocolate aroma. Barley and a bit of hops, but the caramel is what makes it. Tap
