This witbier is a little lifeless, sort of flat in aroma and taste.Basic taste of the witbier is there, but maybe could be livened up with some orange peel . I thought that was for the American varieties only....

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity spicy wheat malty aroma. Fruity wheat malty spicy flavor. Has a sweetish wheat malty spicy finish.

Hazy golden with a white head - yeasty aroma - Taste is of some malt and citrus, but a lot of yeast - the yeasty taste continues into the finish - a little to much yeast in my opinion

750 ml bottle. Nice witbier but nothing really impressive. I still recommend it, it’s nice for à change

[ASPETTO] oro chiaro, leggermente velata [SCHIUMA] bianca, media presenza, abbastanza fine e poco durevole. Bevuta e dimenticata.

Originally rated July 2005. Second beer out of eight brought back by my girlfriend, from Europe. Sampled from their 330ml brown bottle, written "bière de froment" on the silver label. This witbier pours a light golden-beige colour with a fat white head. The retention is very long and the lacing is so-so. The aroma is very nice and smooth with different spices and the ususal witbier scent. Nothing offensive. The taste is the same, mixed in with a slight bitter finish, but yet very smooth. Quite light, but very refreshing. A French witbier that is above-average.

Light hazy, yellow body with quickly diminishing white head. Aroma of apple cider, mandarin, fresh herbs. Light tinting body and taste. Moderate bitterness and not too much spices. Decent wit. (33cl bottle)

4.0% cloudy pale yellow with a thin head, flowery perfume aroma, complicated taste with some lemon, flowers and vanilla, although it was drinkable.
