Lots of hops on the nose, some wet bread, but with dark barley and light grain notes. White head, boring yellow body. Flavour has notes of grass, corn, hops. Very smooth palate. A good blonde.

Murky golden color with chunks of yeast and sediment suspended in the brew. Thick one finger creamy head. Aromaand taste iscitrus and malt. Body is heavy and chewy. One of the thicker biere de gardes I’ve tried....

YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 24, 2003
Apricots, malts and rosemary in the nose. Dark golden color with a huge foamy head, fizzy carbonation. Marcipan, apricot and malt flavor. Slightly spicey.

Ungstrup (38889) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2004
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2010 [Bottled at Fête de la Biere 2004 and other places] A golden beer with a fine white lasting lazing head. The aroma is sweet spicy with notes of coriander. The flavor is rather sweet spicy with domination of coriander and hops on a malty background, leading to a lightly bitter finish. A quite nice Belgian Ale.

RichardGretton (4861) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 29, 2005
Bottle. Impressive head, light brown beer. Quite strong fermented fruit aroma but soon dies, the flavour is quite gentle but quite dry and fairly bitter with dark fruits. Overall a reasonable French effort at a Belgian beer.

Nagash (207) - Paris, FRANCE - JUL 26, 2006
Bottle. Malt, wheat, some bitterness, sugar and honey. Dry on finish. Quite good but maybe not strong enough. Lancelot may be the best brewer in france.

nigos (631) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2008
Clouded orange hue with a decent off white head. Pleasant orange and citrus aroma. Light crisp orange and yeast flavour with a medium body and a fresh crisp after taste. A Decent but fairly standard beer.
