Amber clear color pour with minimal head. Overwhelming rye aroma and taste. Too much actually. Not picking up much hop flavor, even the earthy spicy kind. Would not recommend to others. Ferris (17779) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 13, 2016
Draft - Caramel and some grains. Clear gold with a rich white head. Spicy hops, burnt orange and a nice finish. Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 13, 2015
Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Slightly hazy amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrus, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and mildly spicy rye malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

5oz on tap at Jackie-O’s. Kind of a hazy orange color. Thin ring of off-white head. Some loose bits and decent ridges of lace. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet, mild dry finish. Nice spicy tingly rye, some orange citrus, pepper character. Touch of caramel. Medium-plus body. Kind of slick, then mild dry finish. Lighter, kind of smooth carbonation. Solid rye pale ale.

Drafte pour. The beer is a clear copper color with a white heqd of foam. The aroma has spicy rye and some juicy citrus. Medium bitterness and a soft juicy, fruity combination. Medium carbonation and medium body. Nice stuff.
